The Synopsis

Tired But Strong is a wonderfully inspiring journey. Six strangers, (Dave Chamberlain, Carla Molinaro, Alexander D. Tucker, Koot Steenkamp, Mike Sewell & Roger Cameron), depart from Cape Town, headed for Pietermaritzburg. Their goal is simple, to run in the Ultimate Human Race, the 93rd Comrades UltraMarathon (90kms) down to Durban.

Rather than take conventional, convenient and comfortable modes of transport, the group instead RUN 90kms for 19 days consecutively, with the 20th day culminating in South Africa's pinnacle ultra-marathon, Comrades.

Following the race, seasoned endurance runner Chamberlain, returns to a mind boggling personal challenge and expedition, The Hug Run - a 90,000km run around the world spanning 9 years, that commenced in the summer of 2016. This next leg of the journey sees Dave circumnavigate the magnificently vast, dangerous and diverse lands of Australia.

Whether solo or ensemble, they will encounter below freezing temperatures, rough and incredibly rugged terrain, their bodies will be placed under considerable strain, their resolve tested with every step.

They are most assuredly Tired But Strong.
